Porto Petro is very much an unspoilt fishing harbour town that still holds onto its mallorcan atmosphere, during the summer months the Spanish holiday here giving it a really typical atmosphere of the Spanish holiday none tourist way of life.

The climate here is variable, during July and August it is very hot, June and September are quite similar and it is hot, May and October have warm days and cool nights.
The winter in Majorca is very pleasant, however towards the start of January it starts to get cold, Febuary can be cold and  wet but the sun still shines till the  spring time comes the  sunny days and good weather is signaled as finally on its way.
