Our  Majorca apartment is one of four in a village street  on this beautiful island of Mallorca it is very quiet . There is some traffic at peak times  in Calonge for just 4-10 minutes at 9am  and 1pm afternoons after five its dead with only street lighting. We have lived there since 1999 and our friends are using it this week. Its a great place for cycling ,golf, eating out with no driving. We  have no anti social types in Calonge and it is an easy place to make friends. Tennis, basket ball are all free in the village. There is a choice of winter in door swimming pools a few minutes drive from Calonge they are Olympic size and style for just very little cost.The roof garden is private with electric and shower with total panoramic viewing of Calonge and the locals. We have a choice of garden pools to use at no cost and upkeep, plus there is no maintenance on this building in respect of the community charges you find with many other apartments and houses - other than a percentage of the cost to re paint the out side white every so often. This is a very low cost apartment to maintain and is very warm in winter unlike the Taylor woodrow in Cala d'or with high community costs nearly 3,000 euros a year. No costs cheap low cost living in a village a place to meet and make friends in a year round open place in the sunshine east side of mallorca on the island of Majorca. The capital city Palma de mallorca is 40 mins,  35 mins drive to the airport or just get the air condition bus to palma then back to the airport for less than 12 euros one way (stops in Calonge).
